Introduction

Founded on the 1st September 1950, Blackpool South Shore Motor Club meets every Thursday night at The Clarence public house on Preston New Road, Blackpool from about 8.30 onwards.

The club organises 2 single venue Special Stage Rallies each year, 1 at Three Sisters Race Circuit in Ashton-in-Makerfield, and the other at Weeton Army Barracks near Blackpool. The club is also a member of the Motorsport North West consortium of motor clubs who organise the North West Stages event held in the Blackpool area every February.

Club members are actively involved in competing and marshalling at all levels.
